Volunteer Positions

Last year, Rancho Niguel Little League registered over 600 players for its spring session. Those kids received 22 weeks of solid hands-on training in the fundamentals of baseball. Of equal importance, these future leaders of our community received an invaluable opportunity to develop teamwork, social interaction and coordinational skills.

Each year, providing such an experience for our kids is a formidable project... one which must be implemented solely with funds generated by RNLL through registration fees, sponsorships, fundraisers and sales of snacks & merchandise. This can only be accomplished by relying 100% upon volunteers to plan, organize and manage the league.

Our kids rely on parents like you and me to contribute
our time and experience as coaches, umpires, board members,
snack bar staff, photographers, event coordinators, and
more. It takes a substantial collective effort to provide a meaningful experience for our kids... and you can help!

For 2008-2009, please pledge a donation of your time and expertise to helping your child and other kids from RNLL. Whether you have an hour a month, an hour a week, or an hour a day to contribute, I can't think of a better cause than the development of our own community youth. Here are just a few of the ways you can become involved:

Team Coach or Assistant Coach
Snack bar staffing
Umpire
Team Moms
Team scorekeepers
Picture day staffing
Closing day ceremonies
Board of Director support
Special development projects
Sponsorships

I think about baseball when I wake up in the morning. I think about it all day and I dream about it at night. The only time I don't think about it is when I'm playing it.
